Twelve of The Cleveland Darter Club's finest, representing 9 of the best westside dart bars in Greater Cleveland, convened at Grand Stand Bar & Grille [12201 Berea Rd Cleveland] to determine which would face off against the eastside finalist from the Lake Erie Dart Association in the event known as BAR WARS. Format played was Best-of-5: 301 DIDO, Cricket, 501 DIDO, Cork's Choice, Cork's Choice.Winner of coin toss option to cork first, loser of 1st game had option, loser of 2nd game had option, for 3rd game loser of the coin toss had option, and the 4th and 5th games gave the loser of the prior game the option to cork first. Players reaching the Final 4 {Ray Skrovan CDC 90-0513 & Wade Wilcox CDC 94-0387} each earned $40, and the 2nd Place finisher Luke Kollias CDC 94-0283 took home $90 U.S. Winner Sam Ruta CDC 89-0262 will play off against eastside winner Ari Lehtonen CDC 97-0315 at a time & location to be announced shortly. 2nd Place winner will receive $250, and 1st Place wins $500, compliments of Voks Darts.
